The cancelled appointment went ahead after all

The story

I had an appointment at noon but I was tired and the weather was horrible so I texted the person I had the appointment with asking to reschedule for the evening but they said I shouldn’t go anymore and cancelled. I replied “ok” then I went back to sleep while thinking “they said yes and I can go later today”, a few hours later they texted saying they needed me to go anyway so I went. That really blew my mind.
