A scratcher paid for a week of groceries

The story

I have a few of them. Distant family members randomly sending me money. People offering me business random business deals that were fantastic. I was short on my car payment due the next day, then I found $600 in the street.

But my favorite was when my family was broke and needed groceries. Something told me to buy a scratcher with the few dollars left I had. I didn't play them often. My husband was furious, kept telling me I was being irresponsible. The one ticket I bought ended up winning a few hundred dollars and got groceries for the week. He never doubted me again lol.
