Kept my family's beach house after my parents' divorce

The story

so basically, a year and a half ago, my parents got divorced. i was ready for it, it’s been a long time coming. the problem was our living situation.

we had to all live in the same house until we sold it. awkward. but the house is big, so it’s fine. but it was TENSE.

i didn’t want us to sell the house. i LOVE my house. it’s gorgeous, it’s huge, in front of the beach, and it’s THE function house. my friends and i spend pretty much the whole summer there. i did NOT want to move out.

so basically, i scripted that my mom’s new boyfriend bought my dad the house for half of it's worth, and he’s moving in with us! and only a week after i scripted this, it happened.

mind you, i love my mom’s boyfriend. i’ve known him for years now, and he’s just perfect. he used to be my surf instructor, so i know him pretty well. i really like him. he and his kids are moving in with us! and my dad is getting this great house in the best zone in the city! it's a gorgeous zone too, it has great beaches, lots of good restaurants, parks, some of my friends live there. i absolutely love it.

i've seen pictures of the house, it's literally PERFECT. for starters, it's absolutely huge, has great lighting, a beautiful kitchen, 3 floors, a yard, pretty bathrooms etc. literally everything on my vision board. i’m gonna go visit it tomorrow.

i’m really happy about this. i get to keep the house i’ve lived in for almost 7 years, and also have a gorgeous house in the best part of the city, also close to the beach, close to my school, closer to everything.

now i have another function house. can't wait to host dinners, house parties, and sleepovers with my friends there.

and babes, this was SO easy to do. i scripted it, read it over, persisted, and it happened. it’s so much easier than people generally make it out to be. just affirm and persist! it's already yours.

i simply scripted all of this and told myself it was already my life, no matter what i saw.
