Success story: I manifested my dream job without even applying

The story

So I’ll try to keep the story as short as possible. Back in September I quit my marketing job without any job prospects because I was tired of my toxic boss, working long hours with little pay, and being walked all over and burnt out. I wanted to work remotely, wanted to make more money and also have more freedom. I also wanted to only write. I went into marketing using my writing skills, and thought it was the only viable option to be able to profit off of those skills. What I realized, though, is that I didn’t really like strategizing or coming up with marketing campaigns as much as I just liked to write copy.

When I quit my job I was certain I’d get a new one quick with my skill sets, education and work experience. I applied to many places with no luck, and even was willing to take a pay decrease. I was stressed and didn’t really know what I wanted to do, because I didn’t think my dream job existed.

I was unemployed from September until this last week, and made money doing gig jobs while trying to find a new position. I felt so defeated so I decided to just sit down and write down what I want and envisioned the kind of job I wanted to have. My list included:

writing job -remote -flexible hours -better pay -something I care about/passionate about. For a while, I was forcing my manifestation and trying too hard to make it come to fruition and even debated settling for less. Recently, however, I took on more of a “I’m going to get the life I want” mentality and just stopped stressing.

Sure enough, my friend, who is a project manager for a remote marketing agency, reached out to me and asked me if I would be interested in doing contract, copywriting work for her boss. I’d be paid 1k a month per client to write marketing emails for a max of 8 clients (8k a month). I sent along my resume and was hired immediately without an interview, and start Monday. I don’t have to do any sales, I don’t have to strategize or do any analytics or client relations, just write. I’m going to be making 8k a month (more than I’ve ever seen in my life) and will work remotely/set my own schedule. On top of that, the clients I’m writing for share similar interests as I do and one of my clients is a spiritual coach!!! Oh and my best friend is my co-worker.

Long story short: Manifesting works guys and my only advice is to stop worrying about it and just know that whatever you want is only one belief away from becoming reality!
