Posted this already before but passing a class after I failed the final exam and mathematically it was impossible for me to have passed.
I only wanted a D as my overall class grade since it would do little damage to my GPA and honestly it was course that I was dying to be finished with. The professor is known to never round grades no matter reason (including medical or personal). It is also the only class at my uni that has the rule that a D- (minus) is considered passing since the fail rate is the highest out of all courses provided in my uni.
After exam grades were posted, I input my final exam grade and kept being provided an F as my overall class grade when using the Excel grade calculator provided by my professor. (It was actually an E but my university doesn't use F's to indicate failing grades).
Cried about it, told my friends I failed the class and even signed up to retake it in the summer & put the summer exam dates in my calendar.
Few days later, I utilized revision. When final class grades came out, I passed with a D :)
